Ahhh, nothing could have salvaged my Friday night better than discovering that my favorite TV serial killer, Dexter Morgan, was back in full effect as of September 27th, except of course the fact that the first episode was already available to watch online! I saw the link was up and running but wanted to wait until the babies were gone to really enjoy it to the fullest. And WOO LAWDY enjoy it I did!

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!
In this fourth installment of the Showtime original series, Dexter is now a proud (and sleepy) papa to a lil boy via his new wifey, Rita. And pay attention because the sleepy part is important.
If we remember from last season, Dexter had narrowly escaped death himself at the hands of The Skinner & also by crazy ass Jimmy Smits, whom he finally had to take down. *spills a little liquor for Jimmy*
Well, now with THOSE problems behind him, Dexter is trying his best to pick up where he left off (killing bad guys according to his dad's "code" & working for Miami Metro Police) but with the added stress of being a family guy. With a new baby. That doesn't let him sleep.
This sleep deprivation causes him to fuck up in court, which allows a killer to go free. So guess who's Dexter's new target? Mhmm. But guess who's new family situation and sleep deprivation fucks up his attempt to right a wrong, in the form of a CRAZY car accident when rushing from his own crime scene to get meds for his sick baby? Mhmm times two!!
Other subplots includes the introduction of a new serial killer, played by JOHN LITHGOW (3rd Rock From The Sun), the return of Deb's former lover, FBI Special Agent Frank Lundy (whom I lovingly call Agent Old Fart), Deb's digging into her father's past and Maria and Angel having a secret office romance. I almost exploded from all the AWESOME INFORMATION/SENSORY OVERLOAD I received in just one measly episode.
So here are the questions to be answered this season: How will Dexter explain his car accident? Will Deb choose Agent Old Fart or Sexy Ass Anton? Will Rita discover Dexter still has his apartment? AND HOW WILL THEY- OR WILL THEY- CATCH JOHN LITHGOW?!?!
I cannot wait to find out.

Everyone keeps telling me that I need to watch this show, but I feel so FAR behind. I'm going to have to schedule a weekend when it's raining to watch the prior seasons.
